Bio

I'm Dennys, a lighting and look development artist with over ten years across film, animation, video games, cinematics, episodics, and commercials. Lighting and look development has been the craft at the center of all of it: color, mood, and texture, the things that make an image land before anyone can explain why.

That's the foundation, not the whole picture. I've traveled the world shooting photography and telling stories along the way, and lately I've gone deep into AI, building agents, tools, and workflows and delivering real projects with them for both personal and client work.

I care about the result, not the method. The tool is just how you get there, and the right one is whatever delivers the best work in the most efficient way. Sometimes that's a camera, sometimes it's going through the traditional CG pipeline, and as of recently, it's AI as another workflow in the mix. Often it's a combination of them. The methods change, the standard doesn't. Knowing what makes an image work is the part that carries across all of them.

The throughline underneath all of it is storytelling and building worlds. Bringing the intangible to life is what I care about most, whether I'm lighting a shot, working behind a camera, or building something that didn't exist before.

Currently

I'm freelancing for companies and studios around the world, taking on lighting, look development, photography, and AI driven projects. This site collects that work alongside the things I'm building on my own. Some of it is finished, some is just getting started, and it grows as I go.
